Parking If there are no available parking spaces in front of the Park Place Building (in and around 914 Washington Street—corner of Taylor and Washington Streets), many people double park (using hazard lights) to unload luggage, etc. Or, some people park for a few minutes directly along the yellow curb in front of the Haller Fountain.

Once you have completed unloading, try for a
24
hour parking space
across
the
street
on the south (bay) side of Washington Street, starting from the uphill corner of the Terry Building (Candle Store) all the way up the hill to the Post Office.
There is also 24 hour parking 2 blocks in the other direction—on Washington Street next to Memorial Field. And of course, you can use any 2 hour space available, but please be advised that these limits are periodically enforced. Parking is not enforced on Sundays and holidays. Once the restaurants and theatres have emptied (around 9:30 pm) you will have your pick of 24 hour spaces and you may leave your car there during the duration of your visit. <back
